Be sure to arrive at the Lihue Airport 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time to check in and receive safety instructions. After takeoff, your pilot will fly over one of Kauai’s most famous natural landmarks which is Waimea Canyon. From there you will get to fly through the pristine jungle of the Hanapepe Valley which will likely remind you of the scenery from the 1993 Steven Speilberg film Jurassic Park. As the tour continues, your pilot will follow the coastline of the Na Pali region to give you exquisite views of the sharp ridges, massive sea cliffs, stunning waterfalls, and hidden valleys found there. As the 45 minute tour comes to an end and weather permitting you will get to see Mount Waialeale, an ancient and dormant shield volcano that is not only covered by incredibly thick vegetation, but sees an average yearly rainfall of 450 inches!

Can I Bring A Camera?

Absolutely! You will be able to capture some incredible images from the cabin. We provide a lanyard case that can hold either your cell phone or Go Pro that will be attached to you throughout the flight. If you bring a larger camera, it must have a secure neck strap. No handheld cameras or anything that can fall from the cabin will be allowed on board.
Is There A Minimum Age Requirement?

Yes, children must be at least 10 years old to come out with us on this tour. An adult must also be present for any child between the ages of 10-18.
What Should I Wear?

Don't wear anything that could fall or fly out of the cabin, including hats, bags, or loose items like car keys. If you have long hair it must be tied back, and be sure to wear closed-toed shoes that fit securely on your feet. Jackets will be provided to all passengers as well.
What is the difference between general and first class?

On a helicopter there are two rows of seating. There are 2 seats up front "first class" seats with the pilot and between 3-5 seats in the row behind them. In the front seats you can see out in more directions with less obstructions.

Is this tour private or shared with other guests?

This depends on the size of your group and demand for tours that day. In most cases, if you do not specificially ask for a private tour, there will be others who will occupy the other seats.
