Kauai’s Ultimate Helicopter Tour Features
Waimea Canyon
Waimea Canyon, often referred to as "The Grand Canyon of the Pacific," is truly a spectacle to behold. This expansive gorge, stretching over ten miles long and more than 3,600 feet deep, showcases a stunning array of colors, from the deep reds of its exposed cliff faces to the lush greens of its vegetation. The canyon's intricate geological features, carved by the Waimea River over thousands of years of erosion, narrate a fascinating story of Kauai's volatile geological history. This awe-inspiring landmark is undoubtedly one of the most breathtaking natural wonders to be discovered on Kauai.
The Na Pali Coastline
The Na Pali Coast, a picturesque masterpiece of nature, is a veritable paradise on earth. Stretching for 17 miles along Kauai's North Shore, this coastline is famed for its dramatic cliffs, plunging valleys, and secluded beaches, accessible only by sea or air. These rugged emerald spires, some towering as high as 4,000 feet, are a testament to the raw power and beauty of nature. Uninhabited and shielded by its inaccessibility, the coast is a sanctuary for a diverse array of flora and fauna. As we fly over this landscape, you'll be treated to views of cascading waterfalls, mesmerizing sea caves, and pristine turquoise waters.
Mount Waialeale
Mount Waialeale, also known as "The Wettest Place on Earth," is a spectacular sight on the island of Kauai. This mountain retains its title due to the incredible amount of annual rainfall it receives, averaging around 450 inches. The name Waialeale itself means "rippling waters" in Hawaiian, which is quite fitting given its verdant, water-laden landscape. Traversing the mountain can be challenging due to the weather conditions and the dense rainforest, so the best way to see it is by helicopter. If weather permits, you will be treated to views of some of the densest jungles in Hawaii!
