If you’re looking for an otherworldly experience, look no further than Wai’anapanapa State Park. This unique park features a volcanic black sand beach, called Honokalani. The jet-black shore is lined with wind-twisted foliage, and the lava cave is an exciting sight to behold. If you’re looking to take a swim, this is the perfect spot.
‘Ohe’o Gulch (Seven Sacred Pools)
The ‘Ohe’o Gulch area of Haleakala National Park is truly something special. When water levels are high, there are many more than 7 pools – making it a perfect spot for swimming and enjoying the natural beauty of Hawaii. However, the pools are currently not open to swimming due to safety concerns. We hope that you’ll still enjoy exploring the area and taking in the stunning views.

Welcome to the Maui coastline. Here you’ll find some of the most beautiful views in all of Hawaii. From “Maui’s Grand Canyon” to the other islands in the distance, there’s so much to see and do here. And we’re here to help you make the most of it by exploring remote areas where rental cars are not allowed.
Taste of Hāna
On this 10-12 hour tour, we’ll take all the way around, and you can add on a 4-mile hike through the Bamboo Forest. We’ll pass several waterfalls, including the 200ft Makahiku Falls. You’ll learn about indigenous plants and non-native species. And if Makahiku wasn’t impressive enough, you’ll be rewarded with the majestic view of Waimoku, a 400 ft waterfall.
