Next stop is the Punalu’u Black Sand Beach. If you have never seen a black sand beach before, the contrast with the blue water is sure to be striking, but what is even better about this stop are the sea turtles that are known to swim up and bask in the warm sun. Upon leaving Punalu’u your guide will take you to the famed Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The tour covers many of the most well known stops inside the park including Kilauea, Chain of Craters Road, and Halemau’mau Crater among many others.
