Be sure to arrive at the Honolulu International Airport 60 minutes before your scheduled departure time to check in for the flight and meet your pilot. Upon takeoff, you will be treated with immediate views of the Honolulu skyline and picturesque white sand beaches of Waikiki. As you continue to climb in altitude the unforgettable shape of Diamond Head will appear before you. From there following the coastline, you will fly over the sandy beach and jagged volcanic cliffs that line Hanauma Bay. Along the ridgeline you may also catch glimpses of the iconic red and white Makapu’u Lighthouse.
As the tour continues up Oahu’s Windward Coast you will see the Ko’olau Mountains off in the distance as you fly over the beautiful Lanikai Beach and the coral reef formations of Kaneohe Bay. The next natural landmark you will pass over is Chinaman’s Hat, a secluded rock formation off the coast. Heading inland from there will take you through the Ka’a’awa Valley which is home to the legendary Sacred Falls. As the tour continues, be prepared to see the surfers riding the waves of Oahu’s North Shore and Waimea Bay. As the tour concludes, you will fly first over the Dole Pineapple Plantation before making a slow-pass over Pearl Harbor, and the stark white memorial building built over the USS Arizona.
