Tour Description

Be sure to arrive at the Lihue Airport 30-40 minutes before your scheduled departure time to check in. Upon departure, your pilot will take you up to cruising altitude and you will start to see the beginning of the breathtaking views this tour is known for right as you leave the airport. The first stop on the tour will be the stunning Manawaiopuna Falls which are also nicknamed the “Jurassic Park” falls in honor of the role they played in the iconic 1993 Steven Spielberg blockbuster. Next, fly over the Olokele Canyon as well as the expansive and majestic Waimea Canyon which are both dotted with gorgeous cascading waterfalls.

Around Kauai’s North Shore, you will be treated to views of the hidden green valleys nestled between the massive 3000-foot sea cliffs of the Na Pali Coast. From there, soar over the picturesque waters of Hanalei Bay and the Princeville Resort area. To cap off this amazing guided excursion, your pilot will fly you to Mt Wai’ale’ale which is a dormant shield volcano that sees a staggering 450 inches of rainfall each year. The ancient volcano has been completely covered in rich emerald green jungle and beautiful waterfalls. Throughout the flight, you will get to listen to a specially designed soundtrack as well as narration from your pilot through premium Bose inflight headphones.

Weight Restrictions

Seating for parties of more than 6, or weighing a combined 1000lbs, will be seated across multiple aircrafts. Please provide accurate body weights as our ability to execute tours depends on this.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation or request change to your reservation, please note the following. Most Circle Island Tours originating from Oahu, there is no charge for date change or tour change based on tour availability. Any request for a refund prior to 72 hours is honored with a full cash refund. No refunds issued for any tours within the 72 hour period, prior to the start of your tour.

Can I Reserve Front Row Seats?

Combined front row seat weight must be under 470 lbs and individual passenger weights must be 240 lbs. Should actual weights during check-in exceed any of these limits guests will be accommodated in other seats and a refund will be made for the premium upgrade fee. Front row passengers must occupy their own seats and must be able to refrain from interfering with the pilot and instrumentation. At least one of the front seat occupants must be 15 years of age or older and capable of performing emergency aircraft egress procedures. Lap children cannot be accommodated in the front row. In the event of an emergency front row passengers must be able to receive instructions in English and be physically capable of operating exit doors. Our chair lifts are only able to access the rear row of seats therefore guests requiring a chair lift to board the helicopter cannot be accommodated in the front row.
Can I Take A Tour If I Use A Wheelchair?

All of our bases are wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant. Each base also has a custom built chair lift to assist passengers into the helicopter safely and comfortably. Our chair lifts are able to accommodate passengers up to 250 lbs.
Do You Recommend Taking Anti-Motion Sickness Medication?

If you are particularly prone to motion sickness, taking a precautionary anti-motion sickness medication is a good idea. However, our flights are very smooth and turns are slow and gentle. This is a professional scenic tour, not a thrill ride. Most people do not experience motion sickness and do not need an anti-motion sickness medication.
