OAHU COMPLETE HELICOPTER TOUR
Thoroughly Explore Oahu’s Incredible Landscape
A Hawaiian vacation is a bucket list item for so many people, and you likely didn’t travel thousands of miles to Oahu only to explore only parts of this amazing island. A guided helicopter tour is the absolute perfect way to see as much of the island as possible in a fun and exciting way. From your vantage point in the cabin of the helicopter you will be able to enjoy views of sites like Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head, and Sacred Falls.
In Hawaiian, Diamond Head is actually called Leahi which translates to “Brow of the Tuna”. This crater has a deep history, from the 19th century when British sailors thought they discovered diamonds on the slopes, to WWII when it was used as a strategic military lookout and even today, where it is known as a popular lookout and hiking destination.
This amazing and beautiful waterfall has actually been closed to the public for hiking since 1999 after a huge rockfall caused the trail to become unsafe. Now, if you choose to hike the trail and are caught you will need to pay a hefty fine. Luckily, helicopter tours to Sacred falls are not restricted in any way which means you can still enjoy views of this stunning waterfall from the air.

Be sure to arrive at the Honolulu Airport 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time to check in for the flight and meet your pilot. Oahu is known for being the most densely populated Hawaiian island, but it’s also one of the smallest at only 597 square miles, which means you can fly over all the major sites in just over an hour. Upon takeoff, you will enjoy immediate aerial views of bustling downtown Honolulu before heading over Pearl Harbor to explore the historical sites. After circling Pearl Harbor, your pilot will do a flyover of Diamond Head, the massive volcanic crater that overlooks the city and the coast around Kaneohe Bay.
From there, your pilot will fly over some of the more wild parts of Oahu such as the Nuuanu Rainforest, Sacred Falls, the surf breaks of the North Shore and much much more. As you round the opposite side of the island, prepare to experience amazing views of the sprawling grounds of the Dole Plantation and the distant peaks of the Waianae Mountains before heading back towards the airport.
